Ambassador Yakovenko meets Professor Poliakoff and Professor Grimes

On January 23 Alexander Yakovenko, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the UK, met Professor Martyn Poliakoff, Foreign Secretary and Vice-President of the Royal Society, and Professor Robin Grimes, Chief Scientific Adviser of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. They discussed a broad spectrum of issues in the sphere of Science, Technology and Innovation.
Ambassador Yakovenko stressed the importance of the implementation of the decision of 11-th session of the Ministerial Russia-UK Joint Committee on Scientific and Technical Co-operation. He invited the British side to participate in the Moscow International Education Fair (April 15-18).
